Hi guys, I have a question for you. I know i haven't been around for a long time and didn't give the site the attention it needed. Things have been pretty tough the past year with the economic climate being the way it is.

I now have a bit of spare time every now and then and i'd like to give our site the boost it deserves. You know best what would you like to see here so please let me know:

What can we do to make this website better?

Well, the big problem right now is lack of people. That's a tough problem to fix.

I'd say we need a stricter policy for flame wars and arguing. That's the reason I'm not coming back abut just peep in rarely to make sure no one's killin each other here.

I got tired of arguing with kids on here, so I left.

I haven't noticed that many arguments recently, so I wouldn't say that's the problem. I think the main problems are just connected to peoples' individual lives and their availablity to come here. Not much you can do about that. People will come when they want to, you can't really force them.

The flame wars are more or less a part of RPGs. If you ever play in a large-scale forum RPG with shitloads of players you'll see that these kinds of arguments still happen. It's unavoidable. The problem here is lack of structure, bottom line. Pretty much what we're doing is creating a play pen, a broad set of guidlines, and saying "knock yourself out". In order for a forum RPG to be the complex but entertaining thing it should be we pretty much need to rebuild the rules and system from the ground up.

And Ludo and I were...(well, mostly Ludo) working on a little somthing like that...but on a site with such little traffic, exposure, and virtually no interested members, what is the point of spending hours and hours creating an RPG just to watch it gradually burn out like the other ones. It's a vicious circle.

Nobody wants to take the initiative because we have no new players, and we have no new players because nobody's taking the initiative.

Falcon you know I'll always help you develop an RPG...thing is...like you say...why go to all the effort of doing it when nobody wants to play?

I would like to see a lot more RPG. Maps, weapons to "collect" or "earn" trough diferent jobs. Like posting 50 responses or something such.

Who's face? Mine? Sorry to disappoint you, Ludvico. I apologise for not being there, but the game hardly seemed to be moving, and hence, not worth my conributions and time...

No one should have stopped the Godfather RPG, by what I see, its the main life of the party
